  • Use the content for commercial purposes

  • Scrape the site or use bots to access content

  • Pretend you wrote any of this (seriously, don't)

Copyright and Ownership

All content on this site—stories, blog posts, images, and other materials—is owned by Kaysha Hancock and protected by copyright law. You're welcome to read and enjoy it, but you can't republish, redistribute, or use it without explicit written permission.

Exception: You can share brief excerpts (a paragraph or two) with proper attribution and a link back to the original post. That's fair use and I appreciate it.

Newsletter and Email

When you sign up for the newsletter, you're giving me permission to send you:

  • Monthly short stories

  • Updates about upcoming books

  • Occasional announcements related to my writing

You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email. I won't sell your email address or spam you with bullshit you didn't ask for.

Email addresses are collected and stored through Squarespace. By subscribing, you also agree to Squarespace's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

User-Generated Content

If you leave comments or send messages through the site, you're giving me permission to use that content (like testimonials or feedback) unless you specifically ask me not to.

Links to Other Sites

This site may link to external websites (retailers, social media, etc.). I'm not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Click at your own risk.
